CoreCMO

Questions & answers

What people ask before they build.

How CoreCMO works, what it costs, and the part most people ask about first: how your data stays yours.

Data & privacy

Is my data private?

Yes. Everything you type into your Brief is locked to your account with database row-level security. No other user can read it, and that includes a competitor analyzing the same company. Your positioning, your pricing, your win rates, your KPIs stay yours.

If a competitor analyzes my company, do they see what I entered?

No. When anyone analyzes a company, CoreCMO reads public sources only — the company website, LinkedIn, public filings. They get the same public read you would. They never see the private refinements you have typed into your own Brief. Your judgment is not in the public layer.

What is public versus private?

Private by default. Your Brief is visible only to you and, if you are on a Team plan, the people you invite.

The only thing that becomes public is what you deliberately publish to your corecmo.ai/c/your-company page. Even then, sensitive fields are stripped automatically before anything is published: KPIs, market-sizing math, win rates, retention, exact pricing tiers, propensity thresholds, and named customers never leave the private tier. The public page carries positioning, messaging, ICP shape, and public firmographics. Nothing else.

Do you train AI on my data?

No. Your Brief is never used to train any model. It is used only to ground the prompts and outputs you run for your own company.

Who owns my data, and can I delete it?

You own it. Export your Brief to Markdown any time, and clear it from your account with one click whenever you want. To fully delete your account and every record tied to it, ask us and we will remove it. When your /c/ page is taken down, it stops resolving and the assistants pointed at it stop reading it.

How is it stored and secured?

Data is stored in an encrypted Postgres database with row-level security enforced at the database, not just the app. Public pages are served through controlled functions using a server-only key that is never exposed to the browser. Sign-in is passwordless, so there is no password to leak.

How it works

What is a GTM Operating System?

The documented strategy, decisions, standards, and institutional knowledge that tell your team and every AI assistant how your company goes to market. It captures positioning, ICP, messaging, competitive context, and voice in one governed place, so people and AI stop starting from a blank page.

Where does the auto-filled information come from?

When you enter your URL, CoreCMO researches your company from public sources and drafts the first version for you. Every section arrives with a confidence indicator, and anything drawn from public data is labeled as such. High confidence means we found strong public signal. Lower confidence means the section needs your judgment, and the system points you straight to it.

Do I have to fill out everything myself?

No, and that is the point. CoreCMO fills in everything that is publicly knowable and gives you a starting estimate on the rest, including market sizing, clearly marked as an estimate to refine. You correct what is wrong and sharpen what only your team knows. Most of the blank page is already filled before you touch it.

What about numbers only I would know, like win rates or pricing?

CoreCMO will not fabricate your internal numbers. It gives you an honest starting estimate where it can and marks it clearly, then invites you to dial it in. You bring the real figures; the system structures them. That is why the output sounds like your company instead of a generic template.

Your /c/ address

What is the corecmo.ai/c/ page for?

It is your operating system as a single address. Any AI assistant, any teammate, any agency can read it and immediately work in your company's voice and context. It is also readable by LLMs, so your positioning shows up correctly when someone asks an AI about your category.

Can I control it, unpublish it, or take it down?

Yes. You choose the address and when to publish. Your everyday edits stay in a private working copy; the public page changes only when you publish an update, and it only ever exposes the public fields described above. You can take the page down at any time from your publish panel.

Plans & access

What does it cost?

Analyzing your company and reading the draft is free. Saving it, publishing your /c/ address, and putting your team on it are paid, starting at 39 dollars per month for an individual leader. See the pricing page for the full breakdown.

What do I actually pay for?

You pay to keep and operationalize it. Free lets you see your completeness score, read the draft, and copy it into any AI. Paid lets you save it, refine it over time, publish the shared address, and give your whole team and every agency one source of truth.

How do you price it?

By company, not by seat. An operating system gets more valuable the more of your team uses it, so we never charge per person. What changes across plans is how many operating systems you run and how much governance you need.

AI & agents

What do the AI specialists actually do?

CoreCMO gives you the specification for each role — product marketing, demand generation, content, ABM, competitive intelligence, and more — plus the operating system it runs on. You install them into the assistants your team already uses, and every one starts from your positioning, your ICP, and your voice rather than generic internet knowledge.

Does this replace ChatGPT or Claude?

No. It makes them company-aware. The best models know the world; CoreCMO teaches them your company. You keep using the assistants you already have, and they finally start from the right context.
